Mr. Woolsey, known as the DUI GURU, has prac­ticed crim­i­nal defense in Cal­i­for­nia ever since his grad­u­a­tion from Cal­i­for­nia West­ern School of Law. His DUI defense expe­ri­ence has taken him to courts in San Diego, Los Ange­les, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Santa Mateo, San Fran­cisco, Marin, Napa, and Sonoma Coun­ties. His cases and eval­u­a­tions of DUI law and it’s defenses and DMV prac­tice and pro­ce­dure have been exten­sively published.

He reg­u­larly attends and par­tic­i­pates in sev­eral DUI spe­cific sem­i­nars through­out Cal­i­for­nia and the United States. Among the asso­ci­a­tions he belongs to are the National Asso­ci­a­tion of Crim­i­nal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), the pres­ti­gious National Col­lege for DUI Defense (NCDD), Cal­i­for­nia DUI Attor­neys Asso­ci­a­tion (CDLA, for­merly Cal­i­for­nia Deuce Defend­ers), and Cal­i­for­nia Attor­neys for Crim­i­nal Defense.

Mr. Woolsey’s early career includes an MBA from the Whar­ton School at the Uni­ver­sity of Penn­syl­va­nia. He has worked all over the United States in sev­eral mar­ket­ing, pro­mo­tional, and sales capac­i­ties. His expe­ri­ences and skills at nego­ti­a­tion, medi­a­tion and arbi­tra­tion in busi­ness have helped fine tune his abil­ity to deal with pros­e­cu­tors and judges and his research and con­sumer behav­ior work make his jury selec­tion and per­sua­sion skills among the best in the country.
